The Castle Creations 1520 Sensored Motor 1650KV is a high-performance 4-pole sensored brushless motor designed for demanding 1/6, 1/7, and 1/8 scale RC vehicles weighing up to 18 pounds and running on up to 8S LiPo power. Featuring a compact 1520-sized can with the performance characteristics of the larger 1717 series motor, this motor delivers exceptional torque, cooler operating temperatures, and outstanding efficiency while fitting into tighter chassis layouts without major modifications. The advanced 4-pole 12-slot design improves power delivery and reduces heat generation, while Castle’s SMARTSENSE™ technology provides ultra-smooth sensored startup performance with seamless transition into efficient sensorless operation. The motor is built with high-strength Kevlar-wrapped neodymium magnets, oversized NMB bearings, premium copper windings, and a rugged water-resistant construction engineered to withstand extreme RC conditions.
