Building on the proven performance of the COBRA 10 and COBRA 8, Castle Creations proudly introduces the all-new COBRA 5—purpose-built for high-performance 1/7th and 1/5th scale RC applications.

Packed with new tuning capabilities, the COBRA 5 offers adjustable braking curves and independent reverse settings to minimize drivetrain stress, protecting gears, driveshafts, and differentials from unnecessary damage. These refinements deliver smoother driving dynamics and a more predictable, realistic feel.

Performance optimization is now more data-driven than ever. The COBRA 5 features enhanced data logging with:

• Twice the sample frequency of previous models,

• Eight times more logging duration, and

• A new looping function that ensures continuous data capture without interruption.

New data points—including ESC motor timing and acceleration metrics from the onboard accelerometer—offer deeper insight into tire slippage, motor efficiency, and overall vehicle behavior.

Access tuning options, data logs, and firmware updates easily using the Castle Link V4 USB adapter (included) and Castle Link 2 software, available free from the Castle Creations website.

A POWERFUL UPGRADE WITH THE SAME FOOTPRINT

The COBRA 5 fits the same footprint as the Mamba XLX2 but boasts upgraded current-sensing and thermal protection systems, reducing the risk of failure in aggressive, high-load setups. Available as a standalone ESC or bundled with one of three Castle 4-POLE 12-SLOT motors, the COBRA 5 is ready to dominate a wide range of large-scale RC vehicles.

Note: The COBRA 5 is not intended for drag racing or high-speed runs. Use in such applications will void the warranty. For these demanding scenarios, the Ghost RC Cobra 5 ACE ESC is recommended—but please note, it is sold without a warranty due to the extreme nature of these applications.
