The Castle Creations COBRA 5, 8S, 33.6V ESC, 20A PEAK BEC is a high-performance waterproof electronic speed controller designed for demanding 1/7 and 1/5 scale RC vehicles. Built with advanced 32-bit processing technology, the Cobra 5 delivers smoother motor control, faster throttle response, and enhanced reliability under extreme conditions. It supports 3S–8S LiPo power systems up to 33.6 volts and features Castle’s CRYO-DRIVE™ technology for improved thermal efficiency and longer run times. The ESC includes a powerful adjustable internal BEC rated up to 20A peak, allowing users to power high-performance servos with selectable voltage output from 5.5V to 8.5V. Additional features include advanced onboard data logging, separate brake and reverse tuning adjustments, SmartSense™ motor operation, waterproof protection, and a high-efficiency cooling system with a temperature-controlled 50mm fan. The Cobra 5 also comes with the Castle Link V4 USB programmer for easy tuning and firmware updates, with optional Bluetooth connectivity available through the B-LINK™ 2 adapter.
