The Castle Creations Copperhead 10, 16.8V ESC With 1406-3800KV Sensored Motor is a high-performance waterproof brushless combo system engineered for 1/10 scale RC crawlers, trail rigs, touring cars, stadium trucks, and buggies. Pairing the Copperhead 10 ESC with a powerful 1406-3800Kv sensored motor, this system delivers smooth low-speed control, excellent torque, and responsive throttle performance for both technical crawling and high-speed driving. The ESC supports 2S–4S LiPo input voltage, with the included motor recommended for up to 3S operation, and features Castle’s SMARTSENSE™ technology for cog-free sensored startups that transition seamlessly into ultra-efficient sensorless operation. Built with Castle’s CRYO-DRIVE™ technology, the system improves thermal efficiency and reduces heat buildup during partial-throttle driving. The Copperhead 10 also includes selectable 5.5V or 7.5V internal BEC settings with 6A peak output, DATA LOGGING LITE, waterproof epoxy protection, audible diagnostic alerts, and a removable 30mm cooling fan with dual-use fan guard. The combo is compatible with Castle Link programming software and optional B-LINK™ Bluetooth connectivity for wireless tuning and firmware updates.
