This product is a long aluminum GT-Maxx shock body designed to house the internal components of Traxxas GT-Maxx suspension shocks. The anodized aluminum construction provides increased durability and smoother shock operation compared to standard composite bodies, helping maintain consistent damping during hard landings and rough terrain driving. Its precision-machined interior allows proper piston movement and reliable sealing when used with compatible shock rebuild components. The red anodized finish also adds a custom appearance while protecting the aluminum from corrosion and wear. RC car compatibility includes the Traxxas Sledge 1/8-scale 4WD monster truck, which uses GT-Maxx shock assemblies.
