TAM85040 TS-40 Metal Black Lacquer Spray Paint (100ml)

This synthetic lacquer spray paint provides a deep metallic black finish for plastic model kits and other compatible hard surfaces. TS-40 Metallic Black combines a dark black color with a fine metallic effect, making it especially useful for automotive models, mechanical components, and custom scale-model finishes. The fast-curing lacquer formula is designed for smooth coverage across large surfaces, while Tamiya's spray nozzle produces a fine mist that helps reduce uneven application. Each 100ml can contains enough paint to fully cover approximately two to three 1/24 scale car bodies, depending on application technique. For a glossier appearance, Tamiya recommends applying TS-13 Clear over the cured finish. TS-40 is intended for hard surfaces and should not be used on clear Lexan or polycarbonate R/C bodies.
