Aluminum spur gear with 90 teeth at 48 pitch engineered to replace the stock nylon spur gear in 1/10 scale Traxxas 2WD trucks such as Bandit, Slash, Rustler, and Stampede. Precision CNC machining from 6061-T6 aluminum and a hard anodized finish enhance corrosion resistance and strength compared with plastic gears while keeping weight low for smoother acceleration and high-speed performance. The gear includes countersunk silver aluminum washers and high-strength mounting hardware for direct bolt-on fitment to most 48p slipper clutch plates. Tooth face width of around 5 mm maintains engagement area with compatible pinion gears. While aluminum is softer than steel, this gear is intended to improve performance without adding much mass.
