CSE060-0057-00 Castle Creations 1406 Sensored 4-Pole Brushless Motor (5700kV)

The Castle Creations 1406 Sensored 4-Pole Brushless Motor (5700Kv) (CSE060-0057-00) is a high-speed 1/10 scale motor designed for lightweight short course trucks, stadium trucks, buggies, and on-road vehicles. It uses Castle’s SMARTSENSE™ technology, which combines smooth sensored startup control with efficient sensorless operation at higher speeds for strong overall performance.

This motor is built around a 4-pole, 12-slot design that improves efficiency, reduces heat, and delivers strong torque and quick throttle response. It is intended for 2S–3S LiPo setups and is best suited for vehicles up to about 4–5 pounds, where it can provide very fast acceleration and high RPM performance (up to around 100,000 RPM). The 5700Kv rating makes it one of Castle’s higher-revving 1/10 scale motors, so it favors speed over torque-heavy crawling or heavy vehicles.

Construction features include high-strength neodymium magnets, high-purity copper windings, oversized bearings, a Kevlar-wrapped rotor, and a rebuildable design for long-term durability. It also uses QUIETSENSE™ technology to improve sensor accuracy and reduce electrical noise during startup for smoother control at low speeds. The motor is commonly paired with ESCs like the Mamba X, Copperhead 10, or Sidewinder series for optimal performance.
